The Uganda Muslim Association of Canada (UMAC) is a charitable, religious organisation, composed of Muslims and non-muslims who seek to bring together brothers and sisters living in Canada and abroad to encourage them to develop their faith, to interpret life from a religious perspective, to commit to their God, and to develop traits of proper character and service and to encourage Islamic and non-islamic oriented social activities in settings such as seminars, conferences, forums, etc. through which members can meet, grow and gain strength.
One of the primary goals of UMAC is to encourage its members’ belief, social, cultural, economic, and intellectual development.

Our Work
Our programs include food assistance through our food bank and free meals, as well as physical and mental health support programs, nutrition education, spiritual support system, soccer programms and more. We partner with different organizations to serve different peoples of different societies

We provide immediate solutions and respond to hunger crisis affecting different societies both moslem and non-moslem and also restore dignity, health, opportunity and. give hope to people living in poverty. Our mission is to change lives in the communities we serve by feeding the hungry today, and building a healthy, hunger-free community.

HOW WE WORK
